When you place an Order
By placing an order using the for-keeps.co.uk website you are making an offer to us to purchase the goods detailed in your completed order form. We will send an acknowledgement of your order with details of the products you have ordered and will then confirm by email as soon as the goods are despatched. A contract between you and us for the sale of goods shall only arise when the order has been accepted, processed and despatched by us to you.
Your credit/debit card will be authorised when your order is placed but you will not be charged until the goods are despatched to you. This does not affect your statutory rights.
All transactions are handled by HSBC. For Keeps Ltd does not store any customer bank details. No order will be despatched unless we are satisfied with the results of strict checks made by HSBC and ourselves.
Orders can be made either:
(1) Credit/debit card via our website. These orders can be placed via our website 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
OR
(2) Cheque
Please make cheques payable to “For-Keeps Ltd and contact us via telephone to place your order. Please allow an extra 2-3 days before dispatch of your goods as all cheques must be cleared before shipping. Cheques should be mailed to For-Keeps Ltd. 5 Brim Hill. London. N2 0HD
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. The prices displayed on this Site are quoted in UK sterling and include VAT at 17.5%. At this time, For-Keeps Ltd are selling only in the United Kingdom.
Delivery Times and Charges
Stock permitting, we aim to despatch all orders within 4 working days of the order being placed. Orders are posted using standard Royal Mail Delivery Service. Orders should arrive within 7 working days of the order being received by us.
If items in your order are out of stock we will notify you by email. Most backorders ship within 3-4 weeks. Postage and packaging will be charged by weight. This is the only way that we can ensure that you are charged the correct price for what you have ordered. We do not charge for the packaging materials. Only for the postage itself. Express Next Day Delivery at cost is available to addresses in the UK irrespective of order size. This guarantees delivery of your order within two working days provided your order is received by us before 12.00 pm. This will be charged at the current Royal Mail rate by weight of the parcel.
You will be contacted by a customer service representative via email should there be any problems with your order, if you do not reply within 14 days your order may be cancelled.
Please note: We cannot post to Post Office Boxes.
Returns Policy
If goods are found to be incorrect or defective, you may return them to us within 14 days of despatch of your original purchase. Please let us know whether you wish to have an exchange or refund. Please note we can only accept items for exchange or refund if the goods are returned in their original packaging, unused, with their labels intact and all accessories in their original packaging.
Making Returns
Goods that are found to be incorrect or faulty may be returned to us. Please do so within 14 days of despatch of your original order. The date your items were despatched to you will be detailed in the documentation that arrives with your order.
Please complete the returns form enclosed with your order in full and ensure it is included with the returned goods.
For all returns, postage will be refunded only if the item is faulty or has arrived damaged. In all other cases, postage is payable by the purchaser. We will resend damaged or faulty goods free of charge. One exchange per customer. Subsequent returns will be charged for. Please ensure that you obtain proof of posting as we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in the post.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Conformity of Goods
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of being placed on the website. However product descriptions may not be entirely accurate whether due to stock shortages or otherwise. In particular due to differences in computer monitors we are unable to guarantee that the colour on your monitor will reflect the true colour of any given product.

All content available on the Site including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio or visual clips, computer software and any materials derived there from (the “Content”) is the property of For-Keeps Ltd, our affiliates, partners or licensors and is protected under UK and international copyright laws. Accordingly you are not permitted to reproduce all or any part of the Content of this Site except in accordance with the following limited licence:
You may download or print pages form the Site but only for your own personal use and provided you do not modify them.
